How manageable are Africa’s levels of Sovereign Debt?

A decade ago, African countries were unable to raise money through bond sales as their economic and political risk profiles were too for international investors.  Since the financial crisis, that’s all changed, culminating in a record $11 billion being raised last year, and several countries announcing plans to raise foreign-denominated debt in 2015.  An overview of the recent history of sovereign debt in sub-Saharan Africa and whether it is still at manageable levels.
