Gireaud takes lead international business development role at Methys

As part of its strategy to boost its presence in Continental Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, technology consulting firm Methys has recruited Jean-Philippe Gireaud to be the company’s Head of International Business Development. He join them from eFront, the financial services software company, where he spent five years as the company’s Area Sales Manager for Europe and Africa.

Previously his career included several senior sales roles with GL Trade, which was acquired by Sungard in 2009, as well as holding positions at a subsidiary of the French Stock Exchange and Tradition Viel.

“Jean-Philippe contributes a wealth of knowledge of the Software and Services industry for Financial Services combined with great passion and enthusiasm,” commented Christophe Viarnaud, who co-founded Methys in 2004. “He has been instrumental in building the Methys-eFront partnership over the years, knows our teams and share our values and culture of excellence for customer service. I am convinced we are going to build great client partnerships together.”

In his new role, he will be based in Paris and report to Methys Chairman and CEO, Christophe Viarnaud.
