Respected TMT lawyer Remy Fekete has left Gide Loyrette Nouel, where he headed the firm’s Intellectual Property – Telecommunications, Media and Technology (IP-TMT) practice to join global law firm Jones Day.
While Fekete’s practice will focus on Telecoms Media and Information, he will play a leading role in the development of the firm’s Africa practice. It’s expected he’ll work closely with Jones Day’s Government Regulation, M&A, Projects & Infrastructure, Intellectual Property and GLobal disputes teams worldwide, helping them and their telecoms, energy and infrastructure clients with their projects on the African continent.
He will be based in the firm’s Paris office. Joining him in making the switch to Jones Day from Gide Lorette Nouel is a team of four associates; Marta Lahuerta Escolano, Almamy Touré, Louis de Carolis, and David Guitton.
